Susan Molinari

As Vice President of Public Policy and Government Affairs, Susan leads Google’s policy and government relations work in North and South America. Prior to joining Google, Susan was a member of Congress, lobbyist and public affairs executive. While in Congress, Susan was elected by her colleagues to Republican Majority Leadership, making her the highestranking woman in the Congress. As a member of the House Budget Committee, she was at the forefront of producing Congress’ first balanced budget in 29 years. She got her start in politics as the Minority Leader of the New York City Council.

Prior to joining Google in 2012, Susan was the founder and chair of Susan Molinari Strategies LLC. Previously, she was a senior principal in the government relations, advocacy and strategy section of Bracewell & Giuliani LLP in Washington, D.C. and chair and CEO of The Washington Group. Susan served as a U.S. Representative from 1990 to 1997.

Susan is an author and lecturer who has appeared regularly on cable and broadcast networks as a media and political analyst. Susan received her master’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 1982 and a bachelor’s degree from State University of New York at Albany in 1980.
