Reviewer of research grant applications submitted to the Italian government (M.I.U.R.- Ministry of Italian Universities) and to European Community review panels. Italian Delegate for Life Sciences for the Framework Program VII (2007-2013). Reviewer for MRC SIR grants and panel member for SRA Lung Cancer Research Program.  Over the years, Dr. Giordano has been an Invited Lecturer at hundreds of scientific meetings held within the U.S. and abroad.
