Washington, DC (202/483-3000)Contact: Elissa Ruffino 202/939-3106 or elissa@niaf.org During the National Italian American Foundation’s (NIAF) 28th Anniversary Convention and Gala weekend, the Foundation is hosting Children of the Greats, a panel discussion with the children of notable Italian Americans. They will share anecdotes about their famous parents and answer questions from the audience. The conference is free and open to the public.
Panelists:
- Barbi Andretti, daughter of legendary racer, Mario Andretti
- Peter Marciano, brother of undefeated heavyweight boxing champion, Rocky Marciano
- Bill Mosconi, son of billiard great, Willie Mosconi
- Mary Ann Sarazen, daughter of one of golf’s greatest players, Gene Sarazen
Children of the Greats will be moderated by CNBC anchor Ron Insana, and is presented in conjunction with the NIAF’s 28th Anniversary Convention & Gala weekend, October 24 and October 25.
Please join us the next day from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM in the Lincoln Room for another NIAF conference, “The Italian American Vote: Does it Count?” with guest speaker Robert D. Novak, national syndicated columnist with the Chicago Sun-Times and host of CNN’s Crossfire.
