NIAF Congratulates Vincent Viola on Florida Panthers’ Stanley Cup Victory

WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 25, 2024) – The National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) extends its heartfelt congratulations to former NIAF Board Member Vincent Viola on the Florida Panthers’ historic Stanley Cup victory.

Viola, the owner of the Florida Panthers since 2013, saw his team clinch their first-ever Stanley Cup championship, marking a momentous achievement in the franchise’s history and for Viola personally.

“On behalf of the entire NIAF family, we are thrilled to congratulate Vinnie Viola, my dear friend, on this incredible accomplishment,” said NIAF Chairman Robert Carlucci. “Vinnie’s leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to excellence have not only brought glory to the Panthers but have also made the entire Italian American community proud.”

Viola, a successful businessman and philanthropist, has long been a pillar of the Italian American community. His dedication to preserving and promoting the Italian eritage aligns closely with NIAF’s mission, making this victory even more special for the organization.

“Vinnie’s success is a testament to the entrepreneurial spirit and determination that characterize so many Italian Americans,” added Carlucci. “His journey from Brooklyn to NHL team owner and now Stanley Cup champion is truly inspirational.”
