NIAF DiLella Fellows

NIAF is proud to announce the creation of the NIAF DiLella Fellows program, an all-expenses paid strategic business tour in Italy for young Italian American and Italophile professionals between the ages of 25-40.  Through this seven-day experience the NIAF DiLella Fellows Program aims to orient young professionals in the Italian political and economic system and cultivate the next generation of leaders in the Italian American community.

 

What’s Included?

International economy round-trip airfare from New York’s JFK Airport. Participation in the European House Ambrosetti Leaders of the Future Cernobbio Forum. Comfortable hotel accommodations. Admission and private bus transportation for all visits.

The NIAF DiLella Fellows Program is a once in a lifetime professional development opportunity that takes participants to Como, Milano, Bologna, Firenze and Roma where they will take part in a series of meetings with major Italian international leaders and experts, corporate visits and attend the Ambrosetti Forum on global scenarios at Villa d’Este in Cernobbio.

Important Dates

In addition to submitting our online application, to be considered for the NIAF DiLella Fellows program, you must submit a copy of your up to date resume and have two letters of recommendation from supervisors submitted on the applicant’s behalf to education@niaf.org by July 22, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Letters sent directly from the applicant will not be accepted.

Trip Dates: Thursday, September 5 – Thursday, September 12, 2024
Application Deadline: July 22, 2024
Applicants Notified: July 29, 2024
Applicant Acceptance Deadline: August 2, 2024

Eligibility

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be between the ages of 25-40 at the start of the program;
  • Be a US citizen or permanent resident alien;
  • Have graduated from an accredited institution of higher learning with a Bachelor’s degree or higher;
  • Be a rising professional with demonstrated leadership and collaborative skills in fields including, but not limited to finance, media, journalism, law, medicine, industry, politics or civil service;
  • Demonstrate a commitment to supporting NIAF’s mission by advancing business, cultural and political relations between the United States and Italy and the preservation and promotion of Italian culture, heritage and traditions
  • Preference will be given to applicants with Italian heritage
