NIAF Hosts Christmas Dinner for the Italian American Congressional Delegation
 
On December 10th, NIAF celebrated its annual holiday dinner honoring the Italian American Congressional Delegation at Fiola in Washington DC. The evening also saw the inauguration of the new co-chairs of the bi-partisan Italian American Congressional Delegation: Representatives Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.) and Mike Rulli (R-Ohio) and their respective Vice Chairs Jimmy Panetta (D-Calif.), and Andrew Garbarino (R-N.Y.). Dignitaries in attendance included: Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, Pat Cipollone, Reps., Chris Deluzio (D-Pa.), Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.), Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.), Lisa McClain (R-Mich.), Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Eugene Scalia, and Italian Ambassador Mariangela Zappia.

NIAF Participates at the AmCham Italy Transatlantic Awards Gala
 
NIAF President Robert Allegrini recently returned from Milan, Italy where he attended the 18th edition of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy's (AMCHAM) Transatlantic Award Gala Dinner. This ministry just consented to issue a commemorative Italian postage stamp celebrating NIAF's 50th anniversary in 2025. The Transatlantic Award Gala was attended by business and political leaders from Italy and the United States including American Ambassador to Italy H.E. Jack Markell and Italian Ambassador to the U.S. H.E. Mariangela Zappia.

While in Milan Allegrini also promoted next year's "Open Dialogues For the Future" conference in Udine at a symposium where he spoke of the role of NIAF as a bridge between the U.S. and Italy.

Join the Naples Italian American Foundation, Inc. for the following events: Jan. 12: Traditional Italian dinner and music, Jan. 17: Sicilian Night. Thursday Night Beer, Bocce and Football. Bocce begins every Thursday at 7:00 pm followed by the game. Pizza, snacks and cash bar. Italian classes, Bocce, Bridge and Mah Jong are daytime activities year-round.
