| October 19th: Celebrate NY Italian Heritage Month with this mini-Broadway style show, fresh from the off-Broadway theaters of NYC celebrating the lives, music and tragic love story of two Italian American icons, Connie Francis and Bobby Darin. Westchester's own, Vanessa Racci (as Connie) and Charlie Romo (as Bobby) turn the pages of these stars' autobiographies into an unforgettable performance with true anecdotes, dialogue, singing all of their greatest hits with Broadway level musicians and performance. The show was previewed on ABC7NY in 2022 and made its public debut at Green Room 42 NYC in 2023 to a sold-out audience and rave reviews. | October 20th: Join in the Italian Welfare League in raising funds for children of Italian descent who are in need. The annual Luncheon will be held at the Metropolitan Club. There will be silent and live auctions, raffles, awards and special presentations. This year IWL will be honoring Stephen J. Squeri, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of American Express, and renowned author Adriana Trigiani. The Autumn in New York luncheon is IWL's primary means of raising funds which are distributed throughout the year.
