| The NIAF DiLella Fellows program is an all-expenses paid strategic business tour in Italy for young Italian American and Italophile professionals between the ages of 25-40. This weeklong business and political tour of Italy will take place this September and will include high-level meetings with government leaders and business luminaries, behind-the-scenes tours of iconic Italian companies, and attendance at the prestigious Ambrosetti Forum in Cernobbio on Lake Como.

| NIAF has added Casa Italia a Miami and San Francisco Italian Heritage Parade to its growing list of Affiliate Organizations, which now consists of 38 organizations nationwide. Organizations that share NIAF's vision and mission have the opportunity to become NIAF Affiliates and join the foundation's coast-to-coast family of Italian American institutions. NIAF works closely with its Affiliates to strengthen the Italian American community across the United States through cultural and educational programs.

| July 3 – 8: The Amerigo Vespucci, the historic and iconic training ship of the Italian Navy, will arrive, for the first time in history, at the Port of Los Angeles and will be accompanied by a special air show of the Italian Air Force aerobatic team "Frecce Tricolori". On this occasion, Los Angeles will be the first city in the world to host a maxi exhibition space called "Villaggio Italia" in front of the Vespucci ship at the Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro - Berth 50).
