The Connecticut Region of the National Organization of Italian American Women invites you to a tasting tour of 5 Italian honeys, paired with regional cheeses and wine on Saturday, June 9, at 1 PM. Join author and Italian trained honey sommelier and recipient of The Wise Woman Award from NOIAW, C. Marina Marchese-DeBenedetto, at her rustic barn in Weston, CT for a tour of her apiary gardens. Address will be provided in a welcome/confirmation email as the venue is a private residence. Please dress casually as this is a farm visit. Closed toe shoes, sun hats, sun umbrellas and sunscreen are suggested. Admission fee: $45 Members | $55.00 Non-Members.

100th Celebration of Henry Mancini with Michael Bublé at Hollywood Bowl
 
June 23: The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and special guests raise the curtain on the Bowl's 2024 season with a 100th birthday celebration for the great Henry Mancini. The 20-time Grammy winning composer of favorite songs and scores ranging from "Moon River" and the score for The Pink Panther appeared regularly on the Bowl's stage, conducting 29 times.

The Amerigo Vespucci, the historic and iconic training ship of the Italian Navy, will arrive, for the first time in history, at the Port of Los Angeles and will be accompanied by a special air show of the Italian Air Force aerobatic team "Frecce Tricolori". On this occasion, Los Angeles will be the first city in the world to host a maxi exhibition space called "Villaggio Italia" that will be open from July 3rd until July 8th right in front of the Vespucci ship at the Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro - Berth 50).
