August 4th: The 6:30 p.m. mass will be celebrated in Italian by Father Brennan. The church is located at 1015 Baker Street in Costa Mesa. After mass enjoy food and friends in the church hall. The mass in Italian is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month.

The 114th Annual Fisherman's Feast in Boston, Mass.
 
August 15 – 18th: The Fisherman's Feast, an annual event that began in Boston in 1910, was inspired by a tradition that goes back to the 16th century in Sciacca, Sicily. Today's Feast is much the same as it was over 100 years ago with lights adorning the street and the smell of Italian cuisine in the air. The current Feast is organized by the descendants of those original immigrants, and still includes a procession of the Madonna through the streets of the North End.
