Celebrating Heritage through Radio and Television Spots

This year marks the 21st anniversary of the designation of October as National Italian-American Heritage month. In celebration of the proclamation signed by President George H.W. Bush in 1989, the Foundation has recorded public service announcements for 2010 with prominent Italian Americans include Jerry Colangelo, Chairman of the Board of USA Basketball and NIAF Chairman, Patricia de Stacy Harrison, CEO and President of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and NIAF Vice Chair, and Sal Paolantonio, ESPN National Correspondent.

Importance of heritage, core values including family, honor and commitment and working towards one's dream are themes of this year's PSAs.
