(Washington, D.C. — November 6, 2012), Hurricane Sandy left unbelievable damages in its wake along the Northeastern seaboard, in particular to New York City and the New Jersey shore communities. The National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) encourages its supporters to help make a difference to the many families that have lost their homes and are in need of help.
“Our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and families who suffered the devastating losses from Hurricane Sandy,” said NIAF Chief Operating Officer John M. Viola. “At this critical stage, any action is a positive step. So we want to do whatever we can to help.”
