SAD NEWS
The National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) mourns the passing of Jeno Paulucci, the Foundation’s Founder and First Chairman. Honored in 2004 by Ernst & Young as the "world's greatest entrepreneur over the past 20 years,” Mr. Paulucci was a pioneer in the ready-made and frozen food industry whose innovations changed the way Americans eat. True to his genius as a visionary, he provided the business acumen and financial support that propelled NIAF to its national and international prominence.

“On behalf of the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) Board of Directors, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Paulucci family,” said NIAF President Joseph V. Del Raso, Esq. “Jeno Paulucci passed away on Thanksgiving Day following a lengthy illness at age 93.

“His commitment to his Italian heritage was embodied in several of the initiatives that he led for NIAF, including a voice for Italian Americans in Washington, D.C., a bridge between the United States and Italy relations, and his unwavering commitment to help those in need.”

Give the Gift of NIAF
This holiday season, as we gather with friends and family, we are reminded of our great culture and the traditions that are so important to us. It is that special time to pay tribute to those who came before us and to those that continue to carry on our Italian American heritage.

This year, consider giving the “Gift of NIAF.” We are excited to offer NIAF supporters the opportunity to share the mission of NIAF with others this holiday season by giving a gift that will last well beyond December. There are several ways you can participate: Make a charitable donation in honor or memory of a loved one; purchase a gift membership for a friend or family member; or give a lasting legacy by purchasing a brick on our Walk of Honor.

Each gift donation will go directly to help support NIAF’s mission of providing educational and youth programs, scholarships, grants, heritage travel and mentoring.

For more information, visit www.niaf.org/giftofheritage or call 202-387-0600.
