About the program For more than three decades NIAF has been a powerful and unified voice for Italian Americans throughout the country, and a major influence in Washington. We are a national organization that acts as an umbrella to other organizations throughout the country that share a similar mission. In becoming a NIAF Affiliate, your group in no way loses its individual identity. Our intention is to simply strengthen the ties and build unity in the Italian American community nationwide.
