Interested in what is taught in
U.S. classrooms under the label of Italian and/or Italian American studies? Then attend "For a Dangerous Pedagogy: A Manifesto for Italian and Italian American Studies," a four-day university symposium on April 14-17, 2010 made possible in part by a NIAF grant.
The conference is intended to provoke a radical re-thinking of those studies, what they mean, their methods and how they are related. Keynote speakers include a panel of prestigious academics from the
Italy and beyond.
